You’re Never Too Old To Learn

Given the opportunity, would you choose to visit your child’s school and take one of their classes? I’m going to take a wild guess…No? You don’t have the time? Or the patience?

Well, I think these parents in Singapore certainly have the right idea:

Dust off your pens and pencils students; because it’s time to go back to basics!

In one of the most bizarre, yet brilliant stories I’ve read recently, this one comes up trumps…

In order for parents in Singapore to get to grips with what their children are learning, and to help them study, pupils’ parents have started taking primary school maths classes.

And personally, I think it’s a brilliant idea if you have the time.

Parent ‘mastery workshops’ are a growing trend in Singapore, where extra tuition for children is a booming business worth more than £660m!

The parents are divided up into ability groups (you remember those), and spend hours learning how to solve mathematical problems. That way they won’t have to fork out for extra tuition and will be able to help their children when they need it.

Brilliant!
So, what does this story tell us?

You’re never too old to learn.

If you have the same mentality when it comes to business, you’re bound to succeed.

Read a book, take some courses, ask for advice, watch videos… you can never know too much about your industry.

Look at it this way; the more knowledge you have, the more you can share – try it and watch your business grow.

Have a great week.. go do something new
